The unique herbal preparation would offer you the rich herbal nutrient support for coping with the discomfort feeling in the allergies and cough seasons. Sedates lung heat, removes wind to clear the surface, resolves cough and phlegm. Use for dry cough or labored breathing due to heat or wind-heat in the lungs. Symptoms may also include fever, swollen lymph glands, and sore throat.
Source: This formula is a modification of the formula, Ma Xing Shi Gan Tang, which is one of the most popular formulas for cough and asthma from the classical Chinese Medicine text, Shang Han Lun, by Zhang Zhongjing, 219 A.D., Han Dynasty. Function: Stop cough, calm asthma, clear lung heat, eliminate sputum Application: Use to treat cough caused by lung heat due to OPI heat, asthma associated with lung heat. It is primarily used to treat acute bronchitis, but can also be used to treat chronic bronchitis, if the patient presents with heat signs (yellow sputum). Chronic bronchitis cases have occasional acute bronchitis-like flare ups where heat signs are present. This formula will clear the heat and reduce the fever. Applications also use to treat the following: (Note, the cases must present with heat signs.), pneumonia, flu, and bronchitis. Contraindication: If the patient has high blood pressure, use this carefully and use only the normal dose. The formula contains Ma Huang, Chinese Epheddra, which can increase blood pressure.

Bottles of 80 tablets. Directions: Take 4 tablets 3 times a day as a dietary supplement. Caution: Do not use if pregnant.
